Mute Audio

On the school provided laptops, the F5 key can be used to mute your speakers. The button is across the top of the keyboard, the thin buttons across the top.

You can use this button to quickly and easily mute and unmute the audio output of your speakers. When you are muted, the key will have a small light turned on.

Along the top row, there are also 2 other quick toggle buttons:

• The F8 key to Mute Microphone
• The F11 key to toggle Airplane Mode.
